What are we?

I will have to start by asserting my belief that everything is nature. That is it.

Unfortunately however, this is an extremely complicated theory to express in brief. Now in order to journey into this theory we will need to agree on a few basics in terms of human rights, these are ideas that each reader should be willing to concede to.

First, every human should have access to clean water. Second, every human being should have access to quality housing. Third, every human should have access to adequate nutrition/food. Fourth, every human has the right to breathe clean air. Fifth but not least, every human has autonomy over their own body. Of course there are obviously more rights that coincide with our needs, but this list will suffice, for now.

When I say everything is nature. What do I mean? I am glad you asked. Close you eyes for just a moment and imagine what nature is. What do you see? Did you see trees or birds? The sky or a meadow? What did you hear? A train passing or the rain fallin? Each you would consider to be nature. This is a simple and yet very complex matter to understand. Humanity is living on its own self contained chess board, and although we may make advances, we have yet to fully conquer.

The way life begins, grows, matures and dies is nature. Its  beauty is present all around us. Nature is gentle and it patiently demands respect from its co-inhabitants. Unfortunately the pendulum swings both ways and the balance of this can be equally as unforgiving and demanding. Nature can easily be manipulated. It has a very long memory, buried deep inside its soil. Burrowed far beneath ruins of old civilizations. It is a concept that has confounded the most intelligent of the human species and driven us to the farthest limits allowed. Nature is our bodily functions, the fun and shameful. Nature is the emotions that cripple us and motivate us. Nature is the force that pulls us together and tears us apart.

When I close my eyes and image nature I envision a large womb, full of millions of civilizations, coexisting and thriving. I image that the creator of it all would prefer not to get involved, as it is content knowing that one day we will collectively pool our intelligence and figure it all out. As absurd as this analogy sounds, it begs about the same amount of information as any other popular ideology.

“I have always been a skeptic, questioning everything. I have even questioned ‘why’ i question. But in the end I understand it is just part of human nature.”
